  30. This update enhances and/or corrects two conditions of previous releases:
  31.  
  32. 1) "AnimGIF - Load" used to require a double-buffering screen mode to
  33.    create the animation. This is the standard for proper Amiga animation,
  34.    but Personal Paint has always been strong in supporting RTG animation
  35.    without double-buffering. This has now been extended to this script.
  36.  
  37. 2) On some web browsers, GIF animations using transparency effects would
  38.    be displayed differently (e.g. leaving "trails") than with Personal
  39.    Paint. This was caused by the lack of a clear specification on the
  40.    various frame disposal methods which can be employed for GIF
  41.    animations if transparency is used. The update contained in this
  42.    archive was designed to offer a better compromise between optimization
  43.    and compatibility with different de facto standards.

  45. This archive does not contain, create or modify any GIF code. Only some
  46. animation features are updated. The installation procedure requires the
  47. personal_gif_io.library, version 5.1, to be already installed in the
  48. system. This library (or a newer one) is included with Personal Paint 7.
